Can a Rune be removed?
Hi all.
I???m playing a R/N level 9 and just bought a major rune for beast mastery. I applied it but not sure if I want to keep it or not. It put my beast mastery up to 7, but of course I lose the health. Firstly, how much difference will that make with my pet as far as damage goes, and second if I want for example to replace it with a Marksmanship major rune can I do that? And what happens to the original beast mastery rune if I can? Do I just lose it or does it go back to my inv and if so, can I then sell it? Also, I know you can???t stack them, however can you put a rune on each piece of armor or just one. I did a search for this on the these forums but couldn???t find an answer. Appreciate any help. |

You can replace it by either putting a different rune over the top of it or by expert salvage kitting the armor.

you can apply a rune over it but then you lose the original
if it is cheap armor you can try to salvage it (expert) out and chances of getting it vary you might just buy another piece of armor to put the new rune onto and store the other |

Sorry.
You can not actually just "remove" a rune per-se, but yo can replace it. by putting on the major marksmanship rune, it replaces the beast mastery rune and it's gone forever. or if you are still saving up for the marksmanship rune, simply pay 125 gold, and buy some random ranger MINOR rune to replace the beast mastery rune so you can get your health back.

I dont know exactly what the dmg difference would be for your pet but regarding your other questions....
-You cannot 'remove' the rune from your armor unless you salvage your armor. Of course this would mean that you would lose your armor in the first place, and, in addition, you are not 100% guaranteed to get your rune back when you salvage. -Alternatively, you can simply purchase another rune from the rune trader and apply it to the same piece of armor. You will definitely lose the original rune, but the new rune will have it's normal effect and you'll be saving your armor. -You can indeed put a rune on each piece of armor (as you know, no stacking, and also no double rune categories) |
